Your Local Chimney and Vent Experts in Wildwood
Wildwood is the largest city in St. Louis County by area, and its homes range from condos to estates on multi-acre lots. Many Wildwood homeowners heat with wood, and our crews sweep, inspect, and repair chimneys and wood stoves across the city.
Every chimney safety inspection we perform in Wildwood is based on St. Louis City & County and St. Charles City & County currently adopted municipal code, so you get a clear, documented report on the codes that actually apply to your home. We serve ZIP codes 63005, 63011, 63038, 63040.
What We See in Wildwood Homes
Wildwood incorporated in 1995, and much of its housing has been built since, from subdivisions with factory-built and gas fireplaces to custom homes on large wooded lots. Rural and acreage properties are more likely to have wood stoves, inserts, and tall masonry chimneys that see heavy use every winter. Heavy wood burning means faster creosote buildup and more wear on liners and caps.
Common problems we find in Wildwood
- Creosote buildup from heavy wood stove and fireplace use
- Missing or damaged caps letting in animals, leaves, and water on wooded lots
- Factory-built fireplaces and chase covers in newer subdivisions
- Tall chimneys on custom homes that need safe roof access
