Your Local Chimney and Vent Experts in Lake St. Louis
Lake St. Louis is right next door to our O'Fallon shop, and our crews work in its neighborhoods every week. The city grew from a 1960s planned community built around Lake St. Louis and Lake Ste. Louise, so homes range from original lakefront houses of the late 1960s and 1970s to newer subdivisions.
Every chimney safety inspection we perform in Lake St. Louis is based on St. Louis City & County and St. Charles City & County currently adopted municipal code, so you get a clear, documented report on the codes that actually apply to your home. We serve ZIP code 63367.
What We See in Lake St. Louis Homes
Older lakefront and established homes often have masonry chimneys and wood-burning fireplaces that are now 50 years old or more, while newer homes usually have factory-built or direct-vent gas fireplaces. Homes near the water and on open lots see more wind-driven rain, which makes chimney crowns, caps, and flashing especially important.
Common problems we find in Lake St. Louis
- Aging masonry chimneys with worn crowns, flashing leaks, and cracked flue tiles
- Water stains near the chimney after storms
- Factory-built fireplaces that have never had a full inspection
